- Course description: The inaugural MOOC of the Embrace project aims to enhance the digital and pedagogical competencies of higher education teachers, focusing on the assessment and efficient utilization of digital resources, as established by the European Framework for Digital Competence for Educators (DigCompEdu). This course marks the beginning of a trilogy of MOOCs integrated into Embrace, a collaborative initiative to significantly transform higher education. The project aims to address pedagogical, digital competencies, and integration with the world of work, led by the University of Hamk (Finland) and with the participation of prominent institutions such as Ifes, IFSP, and UFABC (Brazil), Instituto Tecnológico de Pereira and Universidad Areandina (Colombia), and Instituto Politécnico de Bragança (Portugal).

Available in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, the MOOC course stands out for its open and flexible nature, emphasizing autonomous student participation without direct tutoring.
- Evaluation process: Evaluations will be varied, emphasizing the practical application of knowledge. They will include practical projects and active participation in forums. Additionally, gamified activities will be incorporated to make the evaluation more engaging and to stimulate the application of competencies in a playful and interactive manner.
