- Course name: Active Pedagogies Using Digital Tools
- Course description: The MOOC "Active Pedagogical Skills" is a proposal aimed at enhancing both digital and pedagogical skills of higher education teachers, with a special emphasis on teaching and learning areas, and teacher training, as outlined by the European Digital Competence Framework for Educators (DigCompEdu).
This is the second course of a trilogy of MOOCs integrated into the Embrace project, a collaborative initiative aimed at significant transformation in higher education. The project focuses on addressing pedagogical, digital skills and integration with the world of work. It is led by the University of Hamk, in Finland, and includes the participation of renowned institutions, such as:

- Methodology: The MOOC course adopts a self-learning approach, providing various materials such as videos, texts, and links in Moodle. It encourages practice through activities, promotes interaction in discussion forums, sharing productions, and automatic assessments. Available in Portuguese, Spanish, and English, the MOOC course stands out for its open and flexible nature, emphasizing students' autonomous participation without direct tutoring.
- Evaluation process: The assessments will be varied, emphasizing the practical application of knowledge. They include practical projects and active participation in forums. In addition, gamified activities will be incorporated to make the assessment more engaging and stimulate the application of skills in a playful and interactive way.
